Superfood Fertility Oatmeal

Banana-oatmeal-almonds-540x298Start off your day right with this high protein/fibre breakfast designed with your fertility in mind.  Some of the fantastic superfoods ideal for conception include maca, and bee pollen.  This oatmeal recipe is:

  1. High in Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 deficiency is linked to irregular menstruation, and poor egg/sperm development
  2. High in Vitamin E. Vitamin E is essential for sperm development and is a potent antioxidant.
  3. Contains Bee Pollen.  A fertility superfood rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
  4. Contains Maca. Another superfood shown to balance hormones, improve egg health and sperm count.



  • 1/2c. instant plain rolled oats (I like Bob’s Red Mill!)
  • 1/2 banana (sliced)
  • 1/4c. almonds (chopped)
  • 1 tsp bee pollen
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vegan Protein Powder (I like Vega or Sunwarrior brands)
  • Maple syrup to taste


Cook oatmeal and then add ingredients. Enjoy!
